F20B FAQ
No its not conflicting. Not if you knew that yes they make custom ones if you need to because they do not make F20B gaskets for the shelves. I was simply referring to getting one of the shelf for the price Cometic sells most of their Honda head gaskets, which it doesnt. Just like how Golden Eagle made an 88mm bore head gasket for my F20B. I dont know what they'd sell it for without sleeving work they performed. They sleeved my F20B and made me the gasket. Only cost me 125. the F20B, besides the parts that interchange with some other Honda motors, is synonymous with the word custom.

Hey i'm looking to purchase a F20b for my civic but im concerned about getting stuck with an auto block vs a manual block which obviously makes more power etc.
I was wondering if there was a way to tell when shopping around which is which?
I searched and looked over this FAQ, so i apologize if this was answered, if it was could you point me in the right direction?

Yes same rear main seal. I had to rebuild my F20, and replced that seal with an H22's.
Let us know when you do.
By block you mean long block right? Only outside signs between the auto and manual will be if it has a flywheel (manual) or a flexplate (auto and looks super thin and clean by comparison) or TB size (auto has a small throttle body while the manual version rocks a 62mm TB that looks like an ITR TB) Other than that there isnt any clear signs.
Whoever you plan to purchase from you should speak with them over the phone and have them make sure a manual one's the one you recieve. Explain to them these differences; I did just that and got a manual.
