My friend used to have one in his '90 Accord. He paid about $1000 for it too but sold his car. The honest truth is that I didn't feel any difference. I was a passenger so that probably was the reasons why. My friend said that he felt a big difference with the f20b.
I would say go for it. My friend seemed happy with it. You won't beat a GSR though. My friend always tried to race me but I always beat him.
