Yeah the hood shuts, all of the pictures in the 1st post are with the swap in the car. All he had to do was cut out a small section of the webbing under the hood to get it to shut.

Yeah this thing is a serious sleeper. I was really surprised how fast it is with a stock h22 and minor boltons. The motor put down like 178whp and 2nd gear feels like my car (450whp turbo gsr in a hatch). Nothing but tirespin

maybe not the right place to ask but i do like the idea of the hood shutting. do you have to use the evolution mounts to get the hood to shut???

Most likely, i havent seen too many civics with the QS kit that have been able to shut the hood. The Evolution mounts position the motor for it to shut better than using b-series mounts with the QS kit.

evolution kit does sit lower, you still gotta cut some of the hood for it to completely shut..

The axles line up fine, the trans sits in the same position as it would with a b-series swap in it. The motor is the only thing thats positioned forward.

so what exactly was the problem that you had with the rear T bracket? which alternator bracket are you going with and are you running a D-series alternator like some people go with?

He had to add a spacer to where the upper bolt goes through. You can kind of see it in one of the pics.
