I want to know which Engine can take more boost, B18C spec R, or a B18C1?????

theoretically the b18c1 will take more boost because the compression is lower. but not much more boost.

 

uhh, is there a third choice?

Kamin's got it exactly right (even how I woulda said it) In another post, I see you trippin' about JDM motor smog issues, but am wondering if u have the motor or are looking for one.. Regardless, I hope these two swaps aren't your only choices for a planned turbo setup.. Obviously you want the VTEC motor, but are being swayed by the price of the JDM swap (with ONLY 35k miles, lol).. Anyhow, hope all goes well..
