Engine swap question please help
I have a friend that has a 94 integra GSR that has a missing motor and Transmission. He has access to a 91 integra LS B18A1 engine an tranny for really cheap. Will any of this fit in the 94?

The engine will fit no problem once you switch the driver's side engine bracket and mount to a 94-01 Integra bracket and mount. The tranny will work as well although you will need a HASport (or similar) hydro to cable conversion with upper mount. You will definitely want to upgrade the distributor, injectors, harness and ECU to OBD1 parts.

He also has the ECU to this motor so I am hoping this will work also. Where would I get HASport (or similar) hydro to cable conversion with upper mount? Nothing special will be going on with this car so to save money would like to use all exsisting parts if possible. How about the drive shafts?
The 91 integra was creamed in the rear end so any parts that were needed off the front end are available.
Thank you for the help!!!!!!!!

You could use the ECU if you buy an OBD1 to OBD0 ECU conversion harness, The thing is, you can pick up a used OBD1 LS ECU for as much if not cheaper and have plug and play and a better ECU.

But wouldn't the distributor and injectors also have to be upgraded to use the OBD1 ECU? And since the wiring harness on the 94 is for a GSR would this be a problem?
The harness you speak of appears to only be $120

Yes, as I mentioned you would have to switch the distributor and injectors to OBD1 as well. The 91 Integra harness will not work with an OBD1 chassis so you must get an OBD1 Civic or Integra engine harness.
