Engine mounting question.....
I'm swapping a b18A1 engine into a '92 civic hatch. Will the '93 integra mounts that match the original engine be the best way to go, or is there a better way to do this? I also hear I'll need the rear mount bracket and the bracket under the timing cover as well. FWIW, I have a '95 GSR hydraulic tranny already. Thanks for all replies!
You can use the civic's original lower tranny mount and bracket, you'll need a 94up or 92-95 si driver's side aluminum mount, the 94up integ rear bracket and the 94up lower right a/c bracket and mount. You can also use the original tranny upper mount from the civic. Hope this helps.
You'll need the driver's side mount and mount bracket and the rear mount bracket for a 94+ Integra. The 90-93 B18A driver's side mount bracket is different - they are used in the 88-91 chassis with a mount kit on B motors. Hopefully you are using a hydro B tranny. If so you'll need the 94+ Integra left and right lower front mount brackets. The rubber Civic mounts can be reused with them.
