EK H22a - Chipped OBD1 ECU (Code 1 Problem)
Just rebuilt my motor and through put the engine back in, changed a bunch of stuff including the engine harness... Into a Obd2a HX harness with the 7 wire wideband primary o2 sensor, and a 4 wire secondary o2 sensor...
I repinned the harness so the secondary was now a 4 wire primary, and i bought a brand new NTK 4 wire o2 sensor. I had my good p28 ecu chipped by phearable and it seems to be working fine.
After driving it for a day, it was running superb... I then through a code, and i couldn't check what it was because when you shut off ignition the code goes away. I then ran a jumper in the 2 wire service plug, and drove it until it popped up again.
It is 1 short blink.
It seems to only come on when i have been driving it for a while and or after i get done playing around a bit.
I quadruple checked my wiring when tucking the harness and repinning what i needed. So i do not think the wiring is the problem, and the o2 sensor was never used and brand new from Advance.
Was wondering what else could be causing this problem? I really don't want to send out for a new chip so i can disable the o2, i daily drive the car and want the best gas mileage possible from not running in an open loop.

Re: EK H22a - Chipped OBD1 ECU (Code 1 Problem)
I also have 550cc rc injectors, ge intake, hotshot 4-1 header, magnaflow highflow cat, ge fuel rail, random fpr, 70 bdl tb, intake...
I read it could be a fuel problem, so i replaced fuel filter with a new one, and also replaced my fpr with a stock one. Then replaced fuel line too because of some minor cracking... That did not fix the code 1 problem.
This is the wiring diagram i came up with and followed. Keep in mind i swapped 7 wire to the narrow band 4 wire secondary to be my primary.
OBD2a Primary O2 Sensor Pinout:
Location: A06 Function: Primary O2 Heater Control Color: Black/White (OR) Orange/Black
Location: A24 Function: Power Source (IGP2) Color: Yellow/Black
Location: D7 Function: Primary Heated O2 Singal (PH02S) Color: White
Location: D12 Function: Sensor Ground (SG1) Color: Green/White (OR) Green/Blue
OBD2a Secondary O2 Sensor Pinout:
Location: A05Function: Secondary O2 Heater Control (S02HTC) Color: Black/White
Location: A11 Function: Power Source (1GP1) Color: Yellow/Black
Location: D14 Function: Secondary Heated O2 Signal (SH02S) Color: White/Red
Location: D11 Function: Sensor Ground 2 (SG2) Color: Green/Black
I think this is all the information i have to offer atm, but this code is becoming quite annoying.
