ecu might be fried...check this out
Let me start by saying that with my H22 swap, I'm using my stock f23 ecu (waiting on jumper harness). Me and the boys decide that we're going to head to the spot tonight, so we jump on I-95 and before I know it I at 125mph, so I step on it a lil more and the car shuts down. I pull over and try to start the car but it just turns over, so I pull out the ecu and it smells burnt, then I call my sister and tell her to bring my jdm accord SiR ecu from the garage. When she finally gets to where I am I plug it up and the cars starts. I recently hooked up my resistor box (about a week and a half ago) and the car had been driving fine. Is there anyway that I could have hooked up the box wrong? from what I've heard is that peak and hold injectors could fry the ecu. If it is hooked up wrong is there anyway to tell? I want to get this situated before I put my P13 in, thanks any help will do! One more thing, the power source that I used for the resistor box came from one of the power leads to my injectors, is that correct or is that a problem, should I look for another power source?
