All jdm ecus dont look for usdm obd2 sensors. But it has the obd2 plugs. So I guess you would call it obd2?*shrug* But it will plug into the 96-98 chassis.

Re: Which ecu is in the 96-98 jdm b16s? (Jackson)
I saw the ring ... Yes, but I need an ecu to run my 2k si engine in a 97 hatch. I am trying to figure out how to get an ecu in the most fiscally efficient manner. So it is reffered to as a P30?

yes they are OBD2 P30 ecu's, even for the US 96 DOHC Delsol's, they used an OBD2 P30 ecu. I believed the part number changed in Japan though, I can't remember if they did or did not though.

In Japan, the 96-up Civic EK4 with B16A engine had a P2T ECU. Careful, because the Civic EX in the US also had a P2T, so make absolutely sure the ECU is really JDM.
