Default Doing Anything Wrong on a Ls Swap??

I m going to do a ls swap into a 93 Civic Dx coupe. A question to all those that have done this or have the knowledge, please help me out. See what i m doing wrong?

Shoping list
94 B18b with tranny
94 axles integra
Ls pr4 Ecu from a 94-95 teg
94 A/c bracket From a Del sol VTEC(if i want to retain A/c)
Stock 94 ls motor mounts
94 teg shift linkage

What else m i missing?
I have a question on upper and radiator hoses. Which one should i use, the stock civic or what ?
On the wiring part, if i get a ls wiring harness, should it be a direct plug in to the ECU and the other components??? what other alternative do i have on wiring?

Thanks for any help guys

Do you have an intermediate shaft?
Use the Integra hoses. The ECU should plug right up.You could get an LS throttle cable, but you can also use your stock throttle cable (but you'll need to extend the mount on the manifold)
...and you might as well get a new clutch while your at it.

What Tranny mounts should i use ,if i have the stock Ls tranny mounted on the engine alrealy? Some guy told me that the civic radiator hose should work. Is that true? OH yea, i haven't thought of that, what type of immediate shaft should i need? so, are you saying that with the 94 integra wiring harness or the civic wiring harness should plug right in?

The PR4 ECU is actually for a 1990-1993 Integra. A 1992-1993 PR4 ECU can be used and is in fact pretty much the same as the 1994-1995 ECU. But it is cheaper just to get the 1994-1995 P75 with the motor.

I think you'll probably need the Intermediate shaft from a 94+ Teg (If you have the 94+ teg axles). *make sure your axles are non-ABS.

You're going to need the rear integra(94+) "L" bracket, and the 2 lower front stabilizer mounts from an Integra. All the other civic mounts will work.

The civic radiator hoses are too small in diameter.

Are we talking about the tranny mounts here?

He will also need upper driver side mount (by the timing belt) from the integra.

There are three different mounts on your tranny. Both the front lower mount and the rear tranny mount are two pieces (mounting bracket and rubber mount)

The front lower mounting bracket, you will need from the integra, but keep your stock civic rubber mount.

Also use the rear tranny "L" bracket from the integra, but keep your stock civic rubber mount.

Then just reuse your stock civic upper tranny mount.

I just recently got my b18b swaped into my 97 ex. The only mounts I had to get was the 99+ SI rear mount and the SI driver side bracket. Those are the only mounts I had to get. Everthing else fitted perfectly.

It's different for the 92-95 civics tho.....neither of the mounts you used will not work for 5th gens.

Yeah i'm in the process of doing a 96 LS swap into my 95 hb.....here's some 411 for ya:

axles- make sure the half shaft matches the axles. So you can use 90+ integra axles whether it be ls, rs, gs, gsr....make sure you get non abs!

upper and lower radiatior hose- buy hoses according to the motor you're putting in.

Intake- You can use your OEM intake or if ordering aftermarket like AEM, order one for the car's application, not the motor. I believe you can also use th 3" ITR AEM or OEM Del Sol Vtec intake arm and box.

Shift Linkage- You can use the LS Shift linkage but if you want a little bit shorter shift you can opt for the GSR or ITR shift linkage. I personally am going to use GSR shift linkage.

OBD1 issues- I would use the 94-95 P75 LS ecu. If you're getting a 94-95 OBD1 LS motor the wiring harness will be plug and play and so will the P75 ECU, no other wiring is needed. Even if you had a 96+ OBD2 motor the wiring harness is plug+play(few plugs will not be used on drivers side shock tower I believe)

Throttle cable- You will need one from a 94+ Integra LS/RS/GS. I got mine for $10 at a junkyard, so they are pretty cheap. Or like stated earlier your civic one can be modified to work.

ummmm...what else???...That's all I could think of at the moment, If you have any other questions hit me up and i'll try and answer as best as I can!

what is wrong with using abs axles and how can you tell whether they are abs or not by just looking at them. I have everything to put my b18b in my 92 hatch, and I already have the axles, but I dont know if they are abs or not. Thanks

You can use abs axles. I used them with my ls swap in my '93 cx.

Intake- You can use your OEM intake or if ordering aftermarket like AEM, order one for the car's application, not the motor. I believe you can also use th 3" ITR AEM or OEM Del Sol Vtec intake arm and box.
You just contradicted yourself there, buddy. You told him to order the intake for the car, not the motor, and then told him he could use the ITR aem intake.

You should order the intake for the motor, not the car.

Shift Linkage- You can use the LS Shift linkage but if you want a little bit shorter shift you can opt for the GSR or ITR shift linkage. I personally am going to use GSR shift linkage.
They are all the same. GSR and ITR shift linkage are no different.
