Would a B16A head fit on a D16 engine? I was just wondering. Please give me some info.

No way in Hell............Bseries wont mix with Dseries.........Only thing i know of is the B18A rods will fit a D16 crank but thats it.

sure, it sits right on top.
I could only get two bolts to line up but hey, it worked for a minute before it blew up.

sure it does.
you can fit a B16A head on a D series block!
just make sure you remove the D series head first, otherwise your hood wont shut.

I had a B16A head on my CX block, and man it looked like almost three bolt holes lined up but I could only get two bolts in there.


I am trying to source an S2000 head to put on my 1992 CX block too, it would make an awesome endtable.

There was a guy on the FI Integra forum on hostboard a couple of years back who claimed to have a b16 head on his d16z6. Was it true? I dont know. I always doubted it, but there were people who said they knew him and that it was.

Remember, anything can be done with the right amount of money/work.

a B series head will fit on a D series bottom end but you have to buy a special head gasket and Z-shaped bolts to mount it. you should definatly do it and post pics.

Hahahahah thats funny man z-shaped bolts like everone else said no it wont fit no b-series matches up with the d-series
