CRVTEC or GSR?????
i have a 92 si w/ a gsr motor and i'm not very satisfied with the low end torque and was thinking about running a b20 with the gsr head and tranny....would it be worth it or should i stick with the gsr motor? i plan on running the gsr head on the stock b20 bottom end...any suggestions?
Have you modified the GSR motor? A stock GSR motor is not all that impressive in a 92Si but the motor has a ton of potential. I think if you desire more power, you should take your time and build the B20, or at least put some higher compression pistons in the motor. In the meantime, if you haven't already, why don't you upgrade your GSR motor with parts that would still be applicable to the B20/vtec. If you put a Skunk2 manifold, good set of headers, CTR cams... etc on your B18c1 and you are still unhappy, at least these mods will also work with the B20 block. If you aren't the type to be at the shop all of the time, or this car is your only daily driver, modifying the B18c might be a better option. Whatever floats your boat though, have fun either way.

what's a good setup for the crvtec? im not planning on hitting 10's and stuff, i just want a fun car to drive around....does any one know if i can use the greddy SOHC turbo kit on the stock B20 motor? i heard the manifold would fit if you just notch the holes a little out on the very sides....thanks
