Default Confused about crank sensor wiring for B20/VTEC!

I'm trying to figure out how to connect the crank sensor (on the oil pump) to my engine harness. A friend of mine was telling me that OBD0 doesn't need it, but clearly in the pinouts they are supposed to go to B10 and B12. The pins from C1 and C2 will now go to the distributor, correct? So how do I hook up this crank sensor (on the oil pump)? Do I need to get a different connector? Obviously the block is OBD2 so that one plug does not match up to anything from the converted engine harness that I made. Need help!
