Default Compression Test on motor out of the car??

Any one know how to do this??

Can't ya do it by sticking it in the sparkplug hole and turning the crank over by hand..Not sure exactly

Just like you would if it were in the car.....

Need to have the starter on the motor and a battery handy. Hook up the battery and energize the trigger wire of the starter motor.

then u cant do it, unless you can spin the crank by hand fast enough, which I doubt. you will get tired after only 1 revolution.

Who said you have to spin the motor fast? Compression still builds up even when you turn the motor by hand (slow)

you will need to have the starter and the trans, just run power to the starter so it turns. Remember the motor will be cool so the numbers will not be 100% also you will need to hold the throttle body open by hand while you have the motor cranking

Just do a leak down test. Its tells you more information anyways.
