i know its th vtec oil pressure switch or as honda calles it the valve timming presure switch but how can u check to see if its broke? ive been getting code 22 constantly and ive tried different wireings is the switch broke? leave me some feedback thanks

 

Check your oil level. Every time I've gotten that code I was low on oil....... There was a thread on this a while back(can't seem to find it though)

 

Or unbolt the solenoid and clean it.

Do you have a v-AFC?????

 

That's what i'm wondering.... cause if you turn the vtec engagement points to low I believe it will throw the code... at least it did on mine....

 

nope. should i buy a new one and try it out? their 50 bucks
