Any number of reasons....Solenoid went bad. Could need to take it off and clean it with some PB Blaster or brake cleaner or replace it. Do you have a swap??

You are correct a code 22 is for defective vtec oil pressure switch. It could be a defect in the circuit, plug, switch. Hope that helps you a little.

yes i have a swap. it was workign great, wne to hit vtec today and notta. check the code and its throwing 22. so i check my oil, a quart low. i just checked the oil three days ago and it was great. so i guess that the low oil level made my trip the cel. it worked fine ont eh way home after work.
