Default code 22

Have code 22 from ecu and want to know what it means and how to fix it.

this link should help.

Code 22 is VTEC Pressure Switch.. there are about 12 million threads about it on here.

generally the problem is that your oil level is too low and the switch is not getting proper oil pressure delivered to it

top up your oil, clear the code and see if that helps!

if it doesn't remove the housing that the switch is housed in. there is a fine mesh screen and some cavity's that should be thuroughly cleaned. Reinstall, clear codes, and try again.

if it still doesnt work check the wiring to the switch....

generally the switches arent bad but it is possible
