battery lite?

battery lite?
I have a h22a1 in my eg, when vtec engages, the battery lite comes on? Also when vtec engages, u can feel a short burst of umph, but after 6k it flattens out?? Anyone have had, or know of this problem?

Alternator belt slipping at higher rpms?
The umph is gone because you are either used to it, or the motor is starving for fuel up top, or you have a transmission/clutch issue. There are a million possibilities.
Take it to a dyno and see if it is actually losing power in the upper rpms, or if it is in your head.

Actually my belt has started to give a lil squeek on start up so ill check that out, I've been wanting to get it on a dyno, I jus need to find a decent place in new England, thanks
