Bad Battery affecting alternator while on driving?
So i found out i had a bad battery and i changed it today. would it be possible that while im driving on the road a bad battery causes not to charge my alternator therefore causing my car to low idle and die sometimes. my lights are also dim so i think thats the cause. does anyone have a clue what else it could be. thanks in advance

everything runs off your alternator after u start ur car...the only thing ur battery does is it gives juice to ur start allowing everything then to be powered by the alternator
check ur allternator belt and tension

and also check the 10mm connection on the top (of the alt.) under the rubber cap.
