Default b20vtec question

got my b20 started this week header is getting hot in like 30 seconds is the stock injectors leaning out? Got a set rc310 coming.

So what is your question?

Of course the header is gonna get hot. You know what it does right? It collects the exhaust gasses and dumps them through the ehxuast.

Exhaust gasses are hot, so they header is going to get hot.

does it start glowing red?
if so, then yeah somethings up.
Probably with your ignition, such as the spark plug wires are plugged into the distributor wrong or your timing is off.

how does the car sound when it idles? lumpy?

you sure the cam timing is dead on and isn't off a tooth or 2?
