weird exhaust noise?
when i rev up my car or down shift i get this weird poping noise from my exhaust i cant figure it out people have told me that it is from having a header on my car or i dont have big enough injectors to compensate for more exhaust flow with my header i have bought new spark plug wires and plugs and it still dose the same thing could it be a bad rotor in my dizzy or something like that because every other car that i hear down shift that has a full exhaust dosent pop i wonder if my timing is off?

make sure all the rubber hangers are tight.all the bolts are tight.and muffler is not hitting against chassis. whats your engine set up? for n/a setup. u dont need big injectors. and bad rotor wont cause your exhaust from poping

its from the pressure differences in each runner of the manifold or header. nothing really to worry about really. i personally like the sound. even more so on a V8

Do you still have a cat? If you have a "high flow" cat it's just your lack of back pressure causing a slight vacuum in the exhaust and when you let off the throttle ( while shifting) air is drawn back into your exhaust system causing the *POP*
