B20B Partial throttle misfire
Hey.. I have a 95 civic coupe with a low miles jdm B20B, OBD2 ecu on an adapter harness, LS I+E manifolds.. the swap is maybe 2 months old.. and ive put 3500 miles on it
the misfire is from 1500-3000 and only at partial throttle.. it'll be fine when youre driving with more than maybe 10 or 20% throttle... anything less and the misfire kicks back in.
Ive done recently:
NGK plugs (.44 gapped)
Wires
MSD external cap with blaster ss
rotor
Walbro 255lph fuel pump
Throttle body gasket
Intake manifold gasket
ive tried injector cleaners, starting fluid spray, carb cleaner... nothing

Ok I'm readily to assume that its your MSD components, but lets run down the list of other possible reasons:
are you getting a check engine light? if so, what code is being thrown?
Have you mixed the TPS and MAP sensor plugs by chance?
They use the same style 3-wire round plug and are very close to each other.
Are you sure you placed the spark plug wires correctly on the distributor cap? If not, this diagram should help:
Are you sure you placed the throttlebody gasket on the correct way?
if you haven't you'll run into idle and throttle issues...

Re: (stratedrm)
with a walbro 255 pump, your fuel PSI will jump up the roof. check out what your fuel pressure is at and if you dont already have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, you will need one. good luck.
