Default throttle body question

So im in the process of throwing turbo in my 99 SI coupe and i just got a gsr head put on and a edelbrock intake manifold put on also....yesterday i put on a new throttle body BDL 74mm and the rpm now jumps from 1rpm-2.5rpm on idle im jsut wondering is it normal?? and if there is any way to maintain a constant RPM?? or is it that a bigger throttle body makes the rpm jump -thanks

you have a vacuum leak. did you replace the TB gasket? Out of curiosity, why did you decide to change heads?

yeah a new gasket was put on, one of my freinds said that its normal for the rpm to do that since its a bigger TB hes really really good with cars and reliable

I experienced the same problem with my 68mm Erick's TB when I first installed it, and it turned out to be the gasket.
