Default b20 question

Ok, i'm planing on buying a b20 in the near future that i will be building for turbo. I know that i need to have the block sleeved to handle the boost, that's not a problem. My question is, while I'm at it, I'd like to bore it out a little more for a bit more displacement. What is the largest i could go and what is the best place in Texas to get it done?

boring it out is the last thing you should be doing, when you simply cant squeeze any more power out of your engine, go for more displacement, never think of it as a first priority.

just my 2 cents

My old turbo B20 setup..... bone stock B20 motor running 11 lbs of boost. Ran it for 4 months straight, raced it all the time, never a problem (after the 4th month, I got bored and dropped in a H22 ). But you need to keep an eye on things like fuel enrichment, oil, leaks, etc, and keep it tuned properly or you will blow the motor (like any motor). Around town I'd run 6 lbs of boost during the day, and that was still more than enough with the B20 motor & GSR tranny (still quick as hell). I've seen turbo B20 setups run good, I've seen some blow up. Just gotta keep it tuned properly and know what to watch for, and not get too greedy with the boost, and you can keep everything copasetic.

thanks for the info guys... and to 7th Gear, i just figured that since i was already getting it sleeved i'd go ahead and get it bored out a little more so i don't have to pay for more machine work later on...
