Are you sure? If they are the same then that's taken aload of my mind. Because i'm thinking of swapping at home with limited tools.

I'm sure that your Civic and Integras are the same as we recieve here as far as mount positions so the steps for bolting in the engine would be the same as any other B-series swap into a USDM 92-95 Civic in which the motor bolts in with no cutting or welding.

Is the Civic a manual or automatic? If its auto, there will have to be some mount fabbing done to the chassis rail mount on the top of the transmission (driver's side for you, passenger side for us in the developped world).

umm isnt the C6 a GSR engine?
damn crazy eurpoean motors.

but no matter what version of the b18c it is, its same mountling locations and using the b series mounts it will bolt in.

its a very easy swap.

OK, thanx guys. I'm worried about the wiring also. I have the engine wiring and ecu side wiring harness. I take it i just splice it into my existing harness under the dash?

when mounting a d to b series in a civic, don't you need to add a mount on the backside of the motor to the firewall? i think the d-series does not use this mount.
i don't know much so i would take my advice just yet.
anyone dis-agree?

The guy lives in europe, he got what was local to him.

Yes I do, you dont attach anything to the firewall. You use the steering rack/subframe for the rear mount.

I hope this clears up a little bit, anyone else care to post incorrect information to continue to confuse the hell out of this guy?

(this applys as long as your car wasnt automatic)
As for the motor swap, It will be really easy, you have a couple options, you can rewire your obd2 ITR distributor to obd1 spec, or sell your distributor, and buy a dohc vtec obd1 distributor, use your old wiring harness, extend the few wires that dont reach the according sensors. Use the stock mounts that come with your ITR motor, use the linkage that comes with your ITR motor. You need an ECU, I would recommend a chipped p28 or any chipped DOHC obd-1 vtec program, or get a jumper that converts obd1 to obd2 plugs and use the ITR ecu, the ecu is basicly obd-1 so you wouldnt have to do much more then that. For axle setup, get 94+ integra axles w/ integra half-shaft, you should get all that with your swap.

Thats all i can think of atm, hope this helps.

is this mount already attached?
so i could just drop a b-series engine in place of my d-series. i was always told that you needed to buy an extra mount togo on the backside of the motor because the sohc d-series never used this mount.

sorry for sounding dumb but i'm really confused now
