B18c6 '99 in a Delsol Vtec '92(europe B16a2)
Which difficulty can I have in order to put a b18c6 (europe Itr engine's) in a Delsol Vtec?
My car is obd1 with p30.
Can I run the new motors with p30 no rechipped?
Are the wirings of the motor equal between obd1 and obd2?
Which other difficulties can I meet and that what I must change beyond to the motor?
Thanks and excused for my English.

If the car you have already has vtec and a b-motor, it's gonna be plug and play. You don't have to do anything. But..if you decide to use that P30, you should get s fpr and give that motor some more fuel. Running a 1.6 ecu on a 1.8 wouldn't be the best thing to do. Either that..or get it chipped.

use your distributer, alternator, fuel injectors and all the obd1 stuff that you have and what not on the itr motor. will be a very straight forward swap.

Hey Jackson, if his swap is like my 1992 Si hatch with 1998 ITR swap then he won't even have to rewire anything at all. Just simply PLUG in the B18C6's harness because it will PLUG right in to your Del Sol's underhood harness. This way you keep the ITR distributor and injectors - no wiring worries at all. Then run the P30 ECU until you can have it or a P28 re-chipped to ITR or better specs.
You will need the difference in timing and fuel delivery to run the Type R motor correctly, so I suggest getting "kenji" from here at H-T to hook you up with one of his ECUs - I've got one and my ITR swap runs KICK-*** with it.
Good luck!

do what mr. b18c5-eh3 says if you get the whole motor with harness and accessories. if you are just getting a bare long block, with no distributer, injectors, alternator, etc, then do what i said.

dude, you're such a dumb ***. If you don't have anything that makes at least SOME sense, please, go back to club si and talk about swapping an S2000 motor into your ghetto 85 crx.
IF it does just come longblock, then Jackson's advise would be the best way to do the swap.

Jesus Christ where did THAT comment come from fowler? Jackson's advise wasn't bad advise man, and he was trying to help the guy out. I just figured he was getting a complete swap with the engine harness, so everything would just plug in.

I say thanks to you for your answers.
I I have motor + tranny + Lsd di Itr.
From what I have understood I can make to go the b18c6 with my P30 not rechipped?
Are there other mechanical differences? Ac is equal? Power steering? Pump of the brakes?
Thanks

it will all mount up just fine. the p30 ecu will run the itr motor, but not at its full potential, to see the best power get it chipped or buy a vafc.
