b18c1 question

Default b18c1 question

if i get a b18c1 to i have to spend my extra money and go buy new spark plugs, spark plug wires, rotor, timing belt, water pump and tension pulley to make it run?

no, but it's a good Idea to do the plugs, timing belt, and water pump.

it all dopends on how many miles are on the motor. I just finished my swap and all I did was change the oil, trans fluid, Thermostat, coolent, and plugs. But mine only has 30k on it so it dosen't really need anything. Just check everything and if it looks worn , then it sure be replaced. There is nothing worse than finishing your swap and having to take off to buy something to get it to run. Just look at everything ahead of time and plan everything.
