B18c1 into EK mount problems
We ripped the motor out of a 96 civic automatic dx and put it next to the gsr motor and there is no way the drivers side mount is going onto the gsr studs unless you notch it out. The trans mount is totally different but I am assuming thats cause its an automatic? The rear mount I guess will work, we have the tranny L bracket from the 99-00si but I was told all the other mounts would work and from what I am seing they are totally different. In an EG chasis this looks easy but the EK looks totally backwards to the mounting style of the gsr motor. Its an obd1 gsr motor in an obd2 car too if that makes a difference. Please any help would be great. Thanks

Re: B18c1 into EK mount problems (95excoupe)
You will need to change the bracket on the timing belt side of the motor to one from a 99-00 Si. (You will need to remove the timing covers to do this) You will also need a bracket for the top of the transmission from a 5 speed car.. The rear bracket from the 99-00 Si is the one you need, so you are good there..
