Default Avid Motor Mount Help!!!!!

I picked up some new Avid Billet style motor Mount last week and I cant get them in. Im like an inch off on the drivers side, It seems that I need to move the motor back. I really dont know b/c the valve cover will be really close to the Strut tower. I got an EK with a B18A1 (LS). Does anyone have these mounts that could help me out im out of ideas. I have the tranny mount in im going to go fight with the rear mount now then try the drivers side again.

i dont know if this will help. but i had avid mounts for my crx with a b16 and my intake manifold was about only a coiuple of inches away from the firewall so maybe some mounts set the motor back a little bit

Hey Manny1987,

Sorry I didn't get to this thread sooner. I just came across it. Please make sure you are using the rear transmission bracket ( aka 'L' or 'T' bracket) from a 99-00 Si, as well as the timing belt bracket from a 99-00 Si. From what you are describing, it sounds like you are using the rear bracket off the B18a, which came from an Integra and will totally throw off the engine positioning in your 96-00 Civic. If you still help more help or have any questions feel free to call us at the office. 866-507-AVID. Thanks!

need to use 99-00 civic si timing belt mount (3 bolts to block) the DA block mount is a bit shorter and the bolt holes are not on the same angle.
