b18c vtec problem-tested everything! read inside
ok here is all the info on the car
1997 integra ls
b18c jdm gsr swap. its obd2 and has a usdm obd2a ecu.
vtec is kicking in at 4500rpm's. i kinda don't get how this is possible when the ecu can't be chipped. i tapped a led into the vtec solenoid wire to make sure i was right at when it was comin in. when it hit 4500 rpms it came on.
the oil level is fine.
wiring and everything is good.
the ground for the vtec switch is on the block.
i have and a/m oil press gauge.
idle oil pressure is 25-30 psi
right around 3 grand the oil psi jumps to 80 and anywhere after 3 grand it stays between 50 and 70 psi.
