Default B16B, whats gotta change?

Ok, I got a spoon longblock civic Type-R engine, and I wanna know for sure what I absolutely have to replace when installing in my 95 civic DX.

Also I gotta know if this was the best choice or if I should have gone with the integra type-r?

Both are great choice....Now, do you have b-series tranny, ECU, wiring harness, shiftlinkage, axles...... to go along w/ ur swap. If I miss miss something someone plz add to my list.

both are good choices ......but it all depends on how you build but the b18c can get more power though

Depends on the yeah Honda (Civic I assume). You won't need a different wiring harness.

i think you should have saved yourself an extra 2000$ on that POS spoon crap and used it to fully build a gsr and beat the **** out of both of the R engines.

I can't justify that cost for the more horsepower i would just as soon buy a Gsr motor and build it. But that is just me i go the less expensive route.

high compression pistons
lightweight rods
good fuel setup
hondata
skunk2/edelbrock manifold and hondata intake manifold gasket.
i/h/e.

of you could do a poor mans turbo setup for about 2000 and walk out with 240whp.

So, altogether I could have saved 2 gs or so If I built up a gsr?
That includes the cost of the add ons you mentioned?

woha woha saved? no.
it would have cost you about the same to build the gsr
the gsr swap is 3000~

and a poor mans turbo is a junkyard turbo from an old ford (even a new turbo) with used parts.
