Default B16b components into a B16a ?

Well what I want to know is will throwing B16b crank, rods & pistons into a JDM "first gen" B16a (obd0) work? What would my compression be - the same as the CTR right?

Compression would be 10.801068956759683 with an OEM 3 layer headgasket
and with a 1 layer headgasket -- 11.454543058505333

The b16b shorty is basically a destroked b18 meaning the deck height is the same as a b18 so it won't work.

Those pistons will bump up your compression a little.

pistons will work out but like stated above you wont be able to use the crank and rods due to the deck height differences
