Default B16B internals in a B16A block.....results?

What would results be if this combo was used? Better than a B16A? B16B?? Thanks

i think if you used a regular b16 block and stuffed it with B16b rods and pistons it'd only turn out to be a budget CTR motor...
The B16B has the same Deck height as the B18C. It is just destroked. Throw the pistons in the B16A CR is around 11:1. I'm running the .25mm ob CTR pistons in my B16A and I'm pretty happy with it.

the crank is the same as b16, just modified a bit like how the itr is to the gsr. i am using standard size b16b pistons in my b16a and i am still in the process of breaking it in. so far it feels really nice. if you want to build up your b16 though, i would suggest b17 crank and rods with ctr pistons. you will get 11.4:1 compression with 1700 cc's. i just took the cheapo route and just slapped in the pistons.

The result would simply be this: You would have a piece of **** that would not even turn over, you would have just pissed your money away! Because this chit wont work. Wanna know why? Because a B16B block is not a B16A block but with a "B" instead of an "A". A B16B is a P72 block hence: **** WONT WORKKKKKK! But dont listed to me because i am stupid i dont even know how to get my own car to run. Go ahead and try to stuff B16B components into your B16A block and please call me at home to let me know how it worked out. My home# is 1-843-797-MoRon

LOL,
chit wont work mang.
B16B = B18C block with different interanls....

B16B internals inside of a B16A will NOT work..... if it cant fit you must acquit.

Did you check piston/valve clearance with the B16B pistons? I'm wondering if you can use a GSR head on a B16A with PCT pistons. I'm wondering if the valves will clear the piston.

they will clear fine. just the gsr head has a smaller combustion chamber so it raises the compression a tad.
