you can technically reuse your HX harness (which is almost like an EX harness), but you'll have to modify the 02 sensor wiring being that an HX has a 5-wire 02 sensor (a B16 engine uses a 4-wire 02). Or you could use a 96-98 5speed EX engine harness and everything will be plug n play compatible providing that you have an OBD2 B16 engine.

You CANNOT use the Si harness because its OBD2b spec (your car is OBD2a, the wire harness differs).

If the P30 ecu is OBD1, you can run it, but you'll need to get an OBD2a ->OBD1 ecu jumper harness (which i suggest you do).

You can use the P30 or p28 but you'd have to get a jumper harness to go from obdII to obdI. Just use the p2t, it plugs right into your ecu harness w/out getting the jumper.

....He will still have to run an ecu jumper (OBD2a->OBD2b) jumper harness to use an Si (P2T) ecu

And again, if DOHC HX's B16A is OBD1 spec (which I think a B16A2 is), he will run into problems when using any US OBD2 ecu with this OBD1 engine i.e. codes for the CKF & 2nd 02 sensor (CKF being the most problamatic sensor to deal with).

He should really choose to convert to an OBD1 ecu if he uses an OBD1 engine, unless he plans to buy a US OBD2 oil pump w/CKF sensor = $$$.
