B16a Skunk2 Setup.. What do I need to change???
Ok.. I have a b16a1 with YS1 Tranny in my CRX Si, so far I just have CTR pistons and I plan on getting skunk2 valvetrain; Stage II cams, Valve Springs, Retainers, and Skunk2 Cam Gears... do I need to upgrade anything else for this setup to work properly?? Valves, P&P, etc...??
Thanks
Thanks

Yes you need to upgrade airflow in your motor by porting.
With an aggressive camshaft as a skunk2 stage2, the motor will stumble when vtec kicks in and get choked at the higher rpm leaving you with a very narrow powerband.

Re: B16a Skunk2 Setup.. What do I need to change??? (Gmedalion)
ya I have a mugen chipped ECU with 4400 x-over and whatever redline..., I was just thinking of doing type r intake manifold, AEM CAI, skunk2 stage II cams, springs, retainers and cam gears and thats it... shouldn't that be good enough??
Or am I going to have to do Valves, P&P and more **** like that or can I just leave it as it would be..??
Thanks

ITR i/m will do the trick in mixing o2 and fuel together. It has long runners and better airflow, from what I've learned it will be best setup with CTR cams. A JDM ITR 4-1 header will run well too.
