Experience with Skunk2 ECU
Here is the setup I will be ordering on my returns
Skunk2 Stage II cams
Supertech Valves (flat)
Supertech Springs/Retainers
Skunk2 Cam Gears
Skunk2 ECU (9500rpm)
Fields FUEL/VTEC controller
On Order:
Apex-i N1 cat back exhaust
Test Pipe
Magnacor 8.5mm Wires
As most of you I have not seen any dyno's on the Stage II cams but I'm sure they are going to need a higher rev limit than 8k. Does anyone have good feedback on this ECU?

Re: Experience with Skunk2 ECU (futuresi)
Hey you gots pretty much same setup I want. Why aren't you going with the Skunk2 springs/retainers/valves? Just curious. I have ECU, so far it's good. Runs really rich though, but you can fix with your controller. With the setup you got, you should be safe to rev up to 9500. Make sure you get the cams professionally installed though. Last thing you need is cams breaking and bye bye motor.

the program is indeed good similar to mugen, it does run rich but it makes power,
if interested I offer the program for much less then the ecu

How much do you offer the program for? I'm going with the Supertech springs/retainers because they are cheaper and stronger,I believe. Also the valves are flat instead of "cupped" to allow for a tad bit higher c/r.

Yeah I have noticed a loss in gas mileage, but it's not so bad until you start having speed spasms and flooring it everywhere. You'll find the powerband is wider as well and you stay in it longer.

Now I hear that I should use all skunk2 produts...retainer,valves,springs... I guess I will pay the extra.
The stage2s perform well into 9500, however, 9k is run by a local hybrid with a similar setup, just for simplicity.. Bottom-line, take it up to 10k on a dyno and adjust accordingly.. 10k will not be a problem with your proposed valvetrain setup, just don't get used to it..
