Default b16a head for a ls/vtec?

i have a complete JDM b16a head and a full LS motor, i was wondering if it is possible to put the b16a head on the ls motor? What modifications would i need to make it work? Will it pass smog? I'm still contemplating if this is the way to go...or FI on the LS motor. Suggestions?!?! thanx

Sure is possible. However, your going to need the B16a intake manifold, sensors, etc. Its a little involved, but not too hard. You need to run an oil line, relocate some dowels, plug a hole or two, find a means to activate the vtec, etc. There is a lot of info on it available if you do a search on your favorite search engine. Actually, i'm in the process of doing one these next couple of days. IM me if you have any questions.

The dowels do not need to be relocated, but the holes for the dowels need to be enlarged, if you can rebuild a motor properly, you can do this, very basic, and there are plenty of sites up that will help you out.
