Default RPM activated switch?

I have one of those MSD rpm activated switches, and i need to know where to get the rpm signal from. I got it used, so i don't have full instructions. I'm asuming its one of the wires from the ignitor chip in the distributor, correct?

I think the tach signal is that blue wire on the distributor....tired/sleepy/yawning...............have to go to bed
