b16 swap wont start. HELP!!!
Gen2 b16a in a 95 cx hatch. Spins over no problem but will not fire. Has both fuel and spark. Any ideas on where to start looking for problems?

How did you check your spark?
Also check the timing belt it might be way off.. Just giving suggestions..

Pulled one of the plugs and it had spark. But we primed it, and it still didn't fire. The distributor looks like absolute crap. We opened it up and it looks like the plastic inside has rusted (if thats even possible). Im gonna try a new cap and rotor to see what happens.
Could be the problem.

Problem is definitly this POS distributor. How we had spark before I don't know, because this thing is siezed. We took a 95 LS distributor and mounted it (with one bolt) and it sputtered, so we know this was the problem.
The ****** at JDMsource.ca that sold me the engine wont give me a new distributor which is crap! The alternator was also shot on the engine. Pretty poor if you ask me.
