who has ever done an auto to manuel conversion and what was your overall expierience, were can i find any information on a manuel b18c1 swap into an auto 96 hatch i appreciate any feedback i am gonna be doing this myself becasue there are no good honda shops in my area

do u have to weld a manuel tranny bracket mount to the body and does the drivers side engine mounts fit? because i heard and auto tanny mount is on an angle and a manuel is straight up and down but this may not be the case on an ek

If your looking to do this conversion, i have all the parts you need, clutch lines, cylinder, pedals, etc etc, off a 00 si, drop me a email.

 

No welding neccesary. Just replace all the mounts an rear tranny bracket with the manny brackets and mounts and you'll be good ta go. Exmple:B18 engine needs B18 manual mounts and bracket.

 

do i have to get new manual stocks mounts or with the mounts from the manuel swap work?

 

If the ones that comes with the swap is still good, with no tears or anything...then you can use them.

 

should i just sell my car and by a manuel or is it worth it to swap out the auto? is it that hard?

 

Its not hard if u have easy access to parts and know what your doing. If not it can be a nightmare finding all the **** you need. Check out this site: www.hondaautomotiveparts.com for a easy referance guide or the acura site in my sig. i had a little trouble my first time cause i couldn't get all the **** from one spot. Check out those sites and order what u need from them intead of bustin *** to every junk yard like i did.

 

what is everything that i need to do the swap?
should i just sell it and buy a 5 speed?
