Auto to man conversion is really simple. The biggest problem would be the mount on the passenger side. U will have to cut it out and weld in a manual mount or simply buy a hasport auto to man mount. If you do a search they is a write up here...
its not that hard you just have to get all the parts unless you find a complete car at the junkyard.
just get the hasport mount it will make it 10x easier, passwordjdm.com sold it to me for 150 out the door, get a stick ecu. your going to have to fabricate a flat steel plate and put it where the auto shifter sits, when you do it you'll know, or else you'll have a 5inch circular hole in the floor.
if you have any question feel free to PM,.

thanks for the info.
but what i was tryna get at is that when u convert, i herd theclutch has very low back pressure so it feels really soft and touchy unless u install a aftermarket clutch and flywheel to make it a bit more harsh. is this true?

no, they didn't do something right, just buy new clutch master cyclinder, and new slave and you should be ok, as for the brake line, go to an auto parts and get 5 foot brake line and bend it if you have the tools.
Just did a auto to manual and it shifts fine. Just be sure all your clutch lines are not kinked or pinched, and be sure your master and slave cylinders are working fine.
I run a oem clutch and its fine.
Just a suggestion tho:
while you got the shift linkage out, put new polyurathane bushings on (energy suspersion?) It'll be much smoother.
Also, I had a hard tiem shifting at first b/c my shifter was not bolted up in the correct spot. It was about 1" to far toward the pass. side, which made it difficult to get in/out of gear. I moved it over and now it sits perfect.
Bottom line- if all your parts are working correctly, and you install everything correctly, it should be just as smooth as a car that came with a manual. No need for different clutches or anything - unless of course ya want em.

oo alrigh coo thanks meng. yea im saving up right now and i had a couple of people tell me its really touchy and isnt worth it. but im too lazy to trade in my dc just to get manual. ive added some mods to it already and i wanna convert to stick before i do anything else with it. like a R motorswap.
