99....2000....& 2001 type r computer.
Ok guys I have a 2000 civic si with a complete gsr swap. I rcently installed a blox type r replica intake manifold, itr throttle body, itr throttle cable with bracket, itr injectors, ctr cams with toda cam gears, jdm 4-1 itr header, and some other goodies. Well my friend recently decided to go k series in his 01 itr and being the best friend that he is he gave me his computer. Well I found out how to take out the imobileizer and tried it on my car but it wouldn't stay on.
My question is can I use 01 itr computer or do I need a different year. Also is this possible at all with any usdm itr computer.
Thanks in advance guys

On the A Connector of your wire harness you have to move A16 over to A15 and that should solve your problem. Good luck.

Yes. I'm currently running a obd2b p73 in my 99 civic ex. I repinned the plug and it works. I have to let the fuel pump prime before I start the car everytime though. If you can find a pinout diagram of a obd2b ecu then you will see where the integra uses a15 for the fuel pump instead of a16(civic). Hope this helps you.
