Default ITR THROTTLE CABLE Question...

Im puting an itr intake manifold and itr throttle body on my b16. The car is a 99 civic si. I bought itr throttle cable bracket, new pcv valve, hondata intake mani gasket, and t/b gasket. The question is, do i need a type r throttle cable for proper fitment? One more question... I sand blasted the itr intake mani and itr t/b and put a clear coat on(because i bought it used), will the clear coat turn brown or something? lmk.

Someone said i should get the ITR throttle cable because mine is longer and might bind up making it not very safe. Is that true?
