98 ek coupe b18b1 swap in limp mode :(
Recently swapped engines in my ek...1998 civic ex...d18y8 locked up so I bought a 95 ls swap...used my stock obd2a harness and changed the plugs...dizzy is correct from what I can tell...runs and drives but I'm stuck in limp mode...no knock sensor on the ls...oil sending unit is plugged in...coolant temp switch, sensor, and sender are correct...iacv and tps are good...iat sensor I believe is correct. All the injectors are fine...I bought a 93 eg that had the motor in it and drove it 2 hours home so I know it ran perfect before...I'm stumped idk what to do from here...the cylinder position sensor and cam position sensor wires were backwards the first time I wired the dizzy...my tach is going ape **** all over the place...everything I cut and wired was twisted and soldered together...heat shrinked and wrapped in electrical tape...I'm lost at what to do next and I can't find any help! I have a cel but how can I check an obd1 code with an obd2 harness? I tried grounding pin A13 on the ecu and it just makes the light stay solid! Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Derek

Re: 98 ek coupe b18b1 swap in limp mode :(
Didn't realize obd2 cars had those...buddy of mine showed me earlier...I have a p75....hooked up a p54 and got the same issue with the same code...1 slow flash then probably a 2 second pause then I get code 4...cam sensor. I suppose that would definitely be my problem...probably burnt it up when the wiring was backwards!
