Just got my swap done and have a few ?'s about the CEL codes
Just got my swap done and have a few ?'s about the CEL codes
The swap was a b18c1 into a 1998 Integra GS. The engine was an OBD1 but I used the stock OBD2 GS harness and added, VTEC, IAB, and the Knock.
OK these are the codes:
0141 - Secondary Heated Oxygen Sensor (Secondary HO2S) (Sensor 2) Heater Circuit Malfunction
1337 - P1337 Engine Speed (RPM) Fluctuation Sensor No Signal
So The 0141 code is weird because that sensor is brand new and shouldn't flip a code at all. It is a universal sensor so I had to wire it in. I matched the colors from the bad sensor it replaced and soldered it up. Should any wires be switched at the ecu with doing this swap? Could I of just switch a wire on the sensor when I was wiring it?
I also performed the crank sensor fix. So with that said whats exactly is the Engine RPM Fluctuation Sensor and where is that located? Isnt that the crank sensor?
Thanks for your help guys and gals

i don't know about your swap, but i have a stock 00 ls.
the secondary o2 sensor could throw a code if your cat is plugged up.
that same circuit (fuse #15) is connected to the alternator, vehicle speed sensor vss, and electronic load detector eld.
my car blew that fuse when i had a bad ground, so make sure your engine bay grounds are clean and tight.

Cool, the cat is brand new, custom but brand new. My VSS is being alittle finicky so maybe that is what is causing the o2 code. I'll check that fuse and clean up my ground and see if that helps. Thanks Man.
Any Help on the others?

loose connection is what i've heard. i'm currently getting a code for primary o2 sensor heater and it says that loose connection or bad sensor. but i'm gonna get it tune so it doesnt matter. get a chipped ecu and it will go away.

the ELD detects how much juice you are using on all the circuits so it can increase your idle speed to produce more at the alternator. it's built into your fuse box and probably not the problem.
