word to that....
As for wiring, if your engine is a US 97 GSR engine and came with the engine harness and is uncut, USE IT. It will plug n' play (minus a few plugs that you won't use) into your 93 EG. If it's a JDM 97 GSR (SiR-G) engine, get a hold of any US 96-01 Integra GSR/ITR engine harness and applly it to your engine.
Since your car is an OBD1 vehicle, you can stick with using an OBD1 ecu even though you'd end up using an OBD2 engine & engine harness....the wiring & engine's electronics are backwards compatible with OBD1 ecu's.

It is a JDM 97 GSR (SiR-G) engine. So you saying that I can just junk the JDM harness? and need to purchase a US one?
Basically what I am hearing here is I need a OBD1 P72 ECU and a US Harness. The US harness will plug into the 93 EG and I will just have to run the Vtec and knock sensore wires?
Is this correct?

-- thats right. You can't use the JDM harness anyways its incompatible with a LHD (US) vehicle, its designed for a RHD car. The main ecu plugs/wires are on the wrong side of the harness.

97 JDM GSR is just OBD2 not OBD2a correct?</TD></TR></TABLE>
OBD2a and OBD2b are both the same "OBD" hence OBD2, however the plugs are mainly the difference is why people referance OBD2a compared to OBD2b.
OBD2a uses plugs A,B,D, where as OBD2b uses plugs A,B,C.
Pic (of course Katman, don't mind y0)
You can see on 96-98 is OBD2a, and the 99-00 is OBD2b. They are the same 'plug styles', just use of the C and D connectors.

Just confirming with Katman, yes this is correct.
VTEC Pressure to D6 pinout.
VTEC Pressure ground to the thermostat housing.
VTEC solenoid to A4
Knock sensor to D3.

Re: 97GSR into a 93 DX hatch > ECU wiring ?? (Katman)
Thanks for all the help guys
One last question
Where can a OBD1 P72 ECU and a GSR US Harness be purchased?
Do I need to start looking at junk yards or classifieds here or does someone sell then all the time?

I would search around the classifieds, I am sure someone around there has an OBD1 P72.
Katman, ej6ajk, or Blown90Hatch might have one. Not sure..
