Re: 96-00 Civic/GSR swap (monicle)
i keep hearing and seeing 00 si motor mounts being used. i have a complete gsr and civic ex. a shop will be putting the gsr motor into the civic. i asked if the needed anything else and the said no that the gsr has everthing they needed, it that true. also the 96+ civics are obd2. i heard that the 94-96 integs have obd1. would you shine some light on this subject thanks. sorry to steal your post bro

yes you want to use si engine mounts...94-95 gsrs are obdi...you can use an ecu jumper and run the obdi ecu...if not you'll end up getting a cfk code and i wanna say a o2 sensor code if running an obdi motor in your 96-00 civic.
Good luck

good my civic is a 96 and the gsr is a 97 so i should be ok and there will be no need for an ecu jumper right? i'm going to check for how much the mounts cost but whats a good price?
