95 gsr swap into 95 cx hatchback...wiring vtec???
OK i need some help. My brother an i are getting a 95 dx coupe that has a gsr swap in it, and we are going to take the swap out and exchange it for the ls that is in my hatch and then sell the coupe. so anyways I need to wire my 95 cx hatch for vtec don't I?? What do i have to do or wire??? Could someone post how and what i have to do so that i can have a vtec gsr and not just a gsr with no vtec.
any help would be appriciated.

The only way you're going to throw a CEL is if you missed a wire, or if a sensor is bad/failed. Otherwise, follow the wiring diagram, hook up ALL the appropriate wires and it should be fine. If anything comes up, you can come back in here and post again! YIPPEE! :D

you are gonna be dropping the motor in a 95 though so you will have to add the VTEC wires from the engine bay plugs to the ECU. 1992 civics came prewired for vtec regardless of the trim level. so unless you get a 92 civic interior harnesss, you have to add the wires yourself.
