94 b18b into 96 hatch?
my friend wants to put a 94 b18b into his 96 hatch. what mounts would he need to use? what about axles? shift rods? what about the wiring? the wiring in the hatch is all screwed up, so he's going to need to rig up the integra wiring somehow. how should he set up the wiring to the ecu? in the integra some of the wiring to the ecu comes from the engine bay, while other wires come from under the dash. also, some of the wiring from the engine goes to other parts of the car. how should he set this up? he already has the engine, but he needs to know this stuff before putting it in.

Re: 94 b18b into 96 hatch? (couter)
There isn't really anything wrong with it.... Just use all 99-2000 Si mounts... You can use the stock upper tranny mount and the top apron on the driverside... You'll need the rear motor mount bracket and driver side upper mount that bolts to the block... Just rework the Civic harness weather it is a DX or CX they are the same... You'll have to rewire it with the Civic's distributor plug, for the injectors you can just use the Civic or modify the connector and run the OBD1 LS.. The IAC will have to be rewired from the 3 pin rotatary style to the 2 pin linear that most every other car has.. If you want to run an OBD1 ECU then you'll need to make or buy a harness converter... This will stop you from having to buy a new 96+ style oil pump that has the mount for the CKFS and having to wire that in.... Just use the same axles.. All 94+ integra are the same, and are what you use too... Lemme know if you need anymore help... Peace
