Default 2000 Si Motor swap into a 92 Hatch CX...

I just picked up a complete Si swap out of a 2000 Si that had been wrecked. Only thing is I didnt get the tranny. So I am going to run a LS tranny from a 95 integra...Any problems with that? My main question was what mounts do I use? Stock GSR mounts? How many do i need what ones do I use stock? Right now I have no stock ot Integra mounts. Can I use all integra mounts or do I have to use a couple of each? Thanks alot guys!

What do i need to do about VTEC meaning my car isn't wired for it. i swapped a 96 GSR motor into a 95 Si hatch, no worries, it came with vtec.

i don't know if you can use integra mounts, but definitely use the stock si mounts, left, right and rear bracket. the rear mount is reused. me and my friend just put a type r in an eg and used all stock type r mounts except rear. just bracket. for vtec... he had an si so it was there, but we did a y8 into a cx eg and just bought an si harness. so i guess just buy the harness and whatever ecu you want you should be ok. trans is fine, better with gsr, type r, or the si, but whatever it drives. put a lightened flywheel, cams, more bolt ons, and it will rev right thru the gears.

the si pass side engine mount won't work in an eg, use a 94-01 teg mount

ALL 92 Civic's are prewired for VTEC on the cabin side. Using a VTEC engine harness will make it nearly all plug and play. Since the 00 Si is OBD2, get yourself a USDM OBD2 GSR/ITR engine harness which will make nearly all of it plug and play. You'll need to wire up the knock sensor but that's about it, definitely get a chipped P28 or P30 ECU to stick with the OBD1 ECU.
As for the mounts, you need to use 94-01 DC Integra mounts and brackets. The Si brackets and mounts only fit the EK chassis. You can reuse the EG upper tranny mount and rear mount (not bracket though), the rest of the mounts and brackets need to be from a DC Integra.

I appreciate everyone's input! If I chose to can I use all Integra mounts? Or do I have to use some EG mounts? Also, I do have the wiring harness that was on the car(2000 Si) Will that work? I have the ECU(which I am selling) but I will be running a chipped P28 like you said.

use all gsr mounts and you should not have a problem....
you will need to switch out the injectors/alternator and distributor for 0bd1 units if you are using an obd 1 harness.

the 2000 si harness will not work....if you use and obd 2 harness (from 96-00 integra)
the injectors, alternator and distibutor will work but you will need to wire the tach signal from the distibutor to the gauge.....
